The Haryana leg spinner rose to prominence with his impressive performance for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. At a batting friendly wicket in Bengaluru with shorter boundaries, Chahal became a good bowler after getting hit for plenty. He made his India debut in 2016 against Zimbabwe and has not looked back since then.
For his impressive performance on the cricket field, Income Tax Department roped him as the Income tax officer.
