1. Ravindra Sinh Jadeja
The Gujarat born lad came into limelight with his thunderous bowling performance in U19 World Cup 2008 , under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. He bagged 10 wickets in 6 matches at an impressive average of 13.
Though Jaddu was not financially stabled as his father Anirudhsinh was a gate keeper to a private company , he took small loans from his neighbours and relatives to persue the cricketing needs .
2. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvi , came in limelight with his economical spells which he delivered for Pune Warriors India in their debut season and later became a sensation by having a key role in India’s 2013 Champions Trophy Triumph.
His father owned a dairy in Meerut (UP) earning a little money which was far low to lead a normal life ,though in an interview he stated that he didn’t have spikes to run with, but his sister supported him financially and he credits her for his success.
3. Umesh Yadav
Yadav , known was for fast bowling abilities turned the attention of everyone towards him , when he played a season for Delhi Daredevils in IPL . His fast and pacy bowling got the attention of Gary Kirsten who invited him to NCA , Bangalore for a trial.
He was born in Nagpur (Maharashtra) where his father worked as a coal miner that didn’t let him enjoy the services of being financially stabled.
4.Irfan Pathan
Pathan known for his allround skills and a test match hattrick against Pakistan , belonged to a poor family before he rised to limelight. Irfan’s father served as a muezzin at a local mosque in Surat.
5.Munaf Patel
Patel was part of the world cup winning Indian team of 2011 Cricket World cup . His father worked on someone else farm and was a lone earner for the family. He was criticised for not helping his father in supporting the family, though his bowling skills got him a place in the Indian team that ended the road of poverty for his family.
