India registered a convincing 203 runs victory against England in the third test to keep the series well alive. Indian captain Virat Kohli was the man of the moment who amassed 200 runs in the Nottingham test and got all the praises for a career defining performance after the horror of 2014 England tour. After his heroics in the third test, Indian captain was asked for an interview by BBC Test Match Special’s Jonathan Agnew but Kohli could not indulge that made it more that of a controversy over twitter.
Here are some of the tweets
It isn’t so much Kohli as the alleged press officer @moulinparikh who fails to appreciate that he has a duty to the game. Great shame https://t.co/Z3q5pAZuWr

Why aren’t TMS allowed to interview Kohli? Still haven’t seen a reason given.

That’s unfortunate, many people are blaming @imVkohli for his arrogance but it’s the management fault, he doesn’t have any personal problem with @bbctms , the management should take these issues very seriously.

Oh .. OK .. I had not noticed. So it’s not a case of Virat not being able or willing- it’s a case of a jobs worth not allowing him. Shame. What did he think u were going do? TMS is an institution & always will be. U wld think these guys wld be happy to oblige! Shame on them!

We are rights holders and radio host broadcaster. As such we always interview both captains and man of the match. With just one exception
