Asia Cup 2018 started with Bangladesh pipping Sri Lanka by 137 runs in an one sided affair thanks to the heroics of Mushfiqur Rahim. Before the start of the tournament, all the six captains of the participating teams participated in a joint press conference on the evening of trophy unveiling.
Before the start of the press conference, there was an instance when three of those captains pulled-off some bunny bones.
Rohit, Sarfraz and Mortaza engage in a comic conversation in Hindi
The three captains realized that camera is not focussing on them so they started a friendly conversation with each other.
The conversation started with the discussion over controversial figure of Bangladesh cricket- Sabbir Rahman, who is facing a six months ban for abusing a fan on Social Media.
Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza narrated the whole incident to Rohit Sharma and Sarfraz Ahmed.
The Pakistani captain then took over by asking whether Sabbir doesn’t want to get married. Rohit further said to Mortaza “Aapko control karna chahiye in sab ko.” (You should control your players)
Mortaza told Rohit about how Sabbir allegedly beat a child in last December to which Rohit replied, “Maara? Pagal hai kya?” (He abused? Is he mad?).
