The build to the upcoming Odisha Hockey world cup has allready started as the organizers launched official mascot “Olly” in the coastal and holy city of “Puri”. Now steel manufacturing giants Tata Steel has been named as the official partner of hockey’s marquee event to be held in Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Continuing the legacy, Tata signed the agreement in order to promote the niche sports in India.

“We are thrilled to announce Tata Steel as an official partner for the prestigious Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018. It is an important tournament for everyone involved with the sport of hockey, and we are delighted to have the support of the steel-making giant,” she said.
“I would like to thank Tata Steel for associating with the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 and I hope that they continue to support Indian hockey in the future as well.”
Hockey world cup will commence from 28th November and will conclude with the final on 16th December.
