After scoring more than 400 runs in the ODI series against Windies, Virat Kohli was given a much needed rest ahead of an important tour to Australia. The Indian captain is recently turning 30 on 5th November and to celebrate the special day, he will head to holy city of Haridwar with his wife and bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
The couple landed at Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun from where they headed to Rajendra Nagar. The reports state that couple will stay in Hardiwar till 7th November and will also enjoy river rafting in the Ganges of Rishikesh.
Kohli may also travel to the Anant Dham Atmaboth Ashram. The Ashram is directed by Maharaj Anant Baba, who happens to be Anushka Sharma’s family spiritual Guru. Anushka seeks the blessing of her guru and she went to him before marrying Virat, last year in December.The guru was also part of their marriage which took place in Italy.
Local authorities have been informed about their visit and all the mandatory arrangements have been made for their pleasant stay in the valleys.
