Ravindra Jadeja’s inclusion in the world cup squad was a surprise for few cricket pundits as they said that a pacer should be preferred over Jadeja, considering the pace friendly conditions in England. The Saurashtra all-rounder however, proved his worth by notching a half century in the warm-up game against New Zealand where the top order failed to trouble the Kiwi pace attack led by Trent Boult.
