Cricket is an emotion in India and the craze is so much that it has also not spared the Bollywood industry. Many superstars from the film industry follow cricket on a regular basis, be it Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh or Suniel Shetty.

6- Angad Bedi

Angad is the son of former India cricketer and 2009 ICC Hall of Famer- Bishen Singh Bedi. The actor plied his trade for Delhi in Under-16 and Under-19 level. He even played against Indian cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh.

5- Saqib Saleem

The handsome who made his Bollywood debut with “Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge” in 2011 has played cricket on state level. The 31-year-old has mentioned that he and Virat have played cricket together in Delhi.

In his junior days, he represented Jammu and Kashmir before having a short playing stint in Delhi. He then move to Mumbai in search of modelling career.

He was also part of Mumbai Heroes in no longer functioning- Celebrity Cricket League(CCL). He will play the role of Indian cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in the Ranveer Singh starrer 83

4- Aparshakti Khurana

He is the younger brother of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurana and has appeared in movies like “Dangal”. Besides his impressive acting skills, the 31-year-old has captained the Haryana Under-19 cricket team.

3- Manoj Tiwari

The Bhojpuri actor turned politician has played cricket during his college days and led the cricket team of Banaras Hindu University(BHU). His sharp in-swingers first fetched him a place in the Vizzy Trophy squad and later a contract with Calcutta’s Rajasthan Club. “I took the game seriously and wanted to play for India. I used to feel very disheartened when I couldn’t see myself breaking through. I was a poor fielder,” Manoj Tiwari said in an interview.

He has also led Bhojpuri Dabang in non-existing Celebrity Cricket League(CCL).

2- Suniel Shetty

The veteran Bollywood actor’s love for cricket is not a hidden secret. He follows cricket on a regular basis and tweets his congratulatory messages whenever India or Mumbai Indians triumph.

He has also captained Mumbai Heroes in now defunct Celebrity Cricket League.

1- Shah Rukh Khan

King Khan has represented his school team in cricket and hockey as well. The 53-year-old has also tried his hands at cricket during team owner’s match in IPL where he represented Kolkata Knight Rider against a defunct- Pune Warriors India led by Sushanto Roy.

He kept the wickets and opened the batting for his team.
