After losing out in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2019, there were speculations that MS Dhoni may announce his retirement from cricket. It was reported that Virat Kohli advised him not to retire and some also speculated that selectors are going to ignore him for future tours. It was said that Mahi would not be picked in the squad for the West Indies series. However, he surprised everyone by choosing to serve for his army battalion in Kashmir and made himself unavailable for West Indies tour.
After returning from Army duty on August 15, Dhoni is again in news for different reasons. A news related to him is becoming viral on social media. In the viral picture, it is being said that Dhoni is now going to enter politics where he looks like a politician. Along with kurta-pajama, he is also wearing a Gandhi cap on his head.
Social media users are speculating that Dhoni will enter the politics and will join the likes of Gautam Gambhir and Navjot Singh Sidhu who have allready started their second innings in politics. When we investigated, it was found that Dhoni had recently appeared for an advertisement shoot in Mumbai, in which he is seen as the politician.

Dhoni has played the role of a politician in the advertisement. Not only this, he also brought both hands above the head and joined in the same manner as a politician does by addressing supporters in a political rally.
It is believed that Dhoni will soon join Team India for the T20 series against South Africa in September. The tour of South Africa to India begins on September 15.
