In the three-match T20 series between India and the West Indies starting on Friday, Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will be center of attention for everyone as the Delhi wicket keeper batsman is struggling with his form with the bat. It will be interesting to see if the skipper will give him another chance over in form Sanju Samson, who comes as a replacement for injured Shikhar Dhawan.
If Pant will get to play the game, he will look set to break the record of veteran MS Dhoni. The 21-year-old currently has three dismissals in T20 cricket and his glove work can take his past his idol and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who sits with five dismissals in the shortest format.
In T20 International cricket, along with Dhoni, Windies wicket-keeper batsman Denesh Ramdin is second in terms of five dismissals, while Andre Fletcher is in third place with four dismissals.
The first T20 between India and West Indies is scheduled on 6th December at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. The match will start at 7 PM(Indian standard time).
