WWE may be willing to get the two wrestlers in the ring once McIntyre’s feud with Seth Rollins is over at Money in the Bank pay per view which airs this Sunday in USA and on the Monday morning in India.
Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal and recently released superstar Heath Slater were part of 3MB in 2012. The trio would be regularly used to promote other talents as they kept losing match and their biggest match came against Daniel Bryan and Kane in a losing effort for the RAW tag team championship.
3MB split in 2014 when McIntyre and Mahal were released by the company while Slater stayed back. Mahal wrestled on the independent circuit for 2 years before returning to WWE stronger than ever and later went onto defeat veteran like Randy Orton to win the WWE title at Backlash in 2017. Drew McIntyre also returned to the company via NXT in 2017 and has been a different man ever since he made his main roster return in 2018.
Mahal lost his WWE title to AJ Styles at Clash of Champions in 2017 and since then he was not given much TV time on WWE. McIntyre was used as a heel and his dominant performances often made the fan believe that he deserves more. The Scottish Psychopath finally won the 2020 Royal Rumble and went onto defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE champion. Mahal also returned to action on last week’s episode of RAW after recovering from knee injury and put up a dominant show to defeat Akira Tozawa.
