The current Covid 19 pandemic has kept cricketers out of the stadiums and one of them is Indian skipper Virat Kohli. However, the Indian captain on Friday took out his running shoes and did some training at his Mumbai residence and then tried hands at knocking the ball with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
In a viral video circulating on the social media, Virat can be seen bowling underarm to Anushka and then he takes the bat, put on his gloves and get ready for some knocking session with Anushka Sharma. The Bollywood actress delivered a first ball bouncer to the Indian captain to which he swayed away and left it. The very next delivery was wide and Virat was not able to reach the ball.
The video also shows a person who can be seen fielding and wicketkeeping during the session.

As per reports, an isolation camp for the Indian cricketers is planned by BCCI at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. However, cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane might have to remain in the lockdown following government imposed restrictions and given that Mumbai is the worst affected red zone area in the country.
Team India last played their last International match in the first week of March, which was the last test of the New Zealand tour and IPL was the next destination. However, the Coronavirus pandemic and countrywide lockdown forced the BCCI to postpone the IPL. The Indian team may travel to Sri Lanka in July to ply their trade in the limited overs series which will be played behind closed doors, as stated by Sri Lanka Cricket Board. The team will only travel to the Island country if travel restrictions are lifted in India and flight operations starts to service Internationally and Domestically.
