In the same month, India will host Afghanistan at Bengaluru for the historic one-off Test.

The tour of England will start in July and end early-September where India will play five Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is. India will be defending their Asia Cup title in September on home turf, although the dates and the venues are yet to be finalized.

2019 will kick off with India’s Tour of New Zealand which will feature five ODIs and five T20Is. As per the reports in DNA, the BCCI has taken a policy decision of not playing Test cricket in New Zealand as 3:30 am IST start to Test matches is not commerically viable for the world’s richest cricket board.

In the second half of February, Australia will come to India for a limited overs series where they will play five ODIs and two T20 Internationals. The curtains will be drawn on the 2018-19 season with Zimbabwe visiting for a three-match T20 series.
