The problems seems to be never ending for Mohammed Shami as his wife Hasin Jaha has lodged a written complaint against him in Lalbazar police station. Previously on Wednesday, in a series of posts on Facebook and WhatsApp chats, Jahan accused Shami of cheating on her. She had earlier alleged that Shami abused her physically and mentally. The cricketer on Thursday dismissed all the allegation against him and lashed out at his wife saying that Hasin Jahan has lost her mental stability.

“Hasin and her family have been saying that we will sit and sort out all issues, but I don’t know who has been misleading her”.
Hasin also alleged that the Bengal pacer took money from a Pakistani woman by the name of Alishba under the influence of England-based businessman Mohammed Bhai. On which Shami said “As far as allegation of compromising my performance while playing for the country is concerned, I would rather die than do something like this,”
“Hasin Jahan has lost her mental stability. She has to prove all the allegations made against me. If I have tortured her then she needs to prove it.” said Shami addressing a press conference.
The cricketer said that the entire incident has mentally disturbed him and he is ready to take legal action against his wife.
“The entire episode is disturbing. I don’t know what she is up to. She needs to explain what has changed so much in these few days. She is suddenly leveling all these accusations on me. Hasin is accusing of harassment. She is even accusing me of match-fixing. I think she has lost her mental balance or it might be her game plan to sabotage my career,” he said.
“I will also take legal action against her. Me and my family always wanted to stay with her. I have always loved her. You have seen that how happy we were in the interview. But I feel she is planning something evil.”
BCCI has withheld Shami’s central contract due to the ongoing issue with his wife. However, Shami said that he has full faith on the cricket board.
“As far as cricket is concerned, I trust the BCCI will check this matter with their legal team and then take a decision on my contract. They must have thought about it before taking this decision,” Shami said.
