India’s greatest ever captain Sourav Ganguly turned 46 today. “Dada” as he is fondly called by his loved ones is regarded as the greatest servant of Indian cricket, who taught the team to win at overseas condition. He was also called the “King of off side” and a batsman who was a nightmare for left arm spinners which are hard to pick for any other batsman.

Ganguly made his test debut at Lord’s against England in 1996 and he made it a grand occasion by notching a well made hundred. He went on to serve Indian cricket for 16 glorious years and made 18, 575 runs in 424 international matches. He was also a handy medium pacer who could break crucial partnership and took 142 wickets in his career.

As Ganguly celebrates his 46th birthday, his former team mates took to twitter to wish the stylish southpaw on his special day.
