India are gearing up for the 1st test against the mighty “England” at Edgbaston in Birmingham. The Boys in Blue lead by captain fearless “Virat Kohli” sweated it out ahead of the all important first test. Unlike the conditions in the limited over series, it is expected to be overcast conditions with cold wind blowing, favouring the fast bowlers. 165 kms away from the city in London the weather had taken a turn as cold conditions had overtaken the sultry summers of England.

The ongoing women’s hockey world cup in London offered the typical English weather with the onflow of rain. It may be a good sign for hockey and a good news for bowlers as well but certainly not good news for Indian batters, who have struggled to play the moving ball in England.

The conditions had taken a round in the recent days and its all for India to worry about.

However, practise sessions can be handy which may give a hint of what’s coming in upcoming five days. Indian team members Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay and Hardik Pandya sweated it out in the net sessions
