The directors and producers took the demand of the audience seriously and embarked on the journey to make some lively biopics of famous personalities but the sports biopics got all the spotlight on them. From “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” to “MS Dhoni, An untold story”, sports biopics have ruled the silver screen and the upcoming movie on badminton star Saina Nehwal have kept the fans gushing.
The fans are demanding a movie on 2011 world cup winning star Yuvraj Singh and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has surely made himself portray the leading role.
He said that he would like to portray the role of Yuvi, who has been the main reason of India’s triumph in 2007 World T20 in South Africa and 2011 World Cup in India.
“So, I’ve said this many years ago, I was very interested, I still feel it’ll be a fantastic biopic. I think Yuvraj Singh‘s life is a film dying to be made. He is an absolute hero, his life arc has been amazing. From his rise as the youngster to the Indian cricket team, his life, his flamboyance, his style, his great gameplay, to finding out that he has cancer, fighting cancer, winning the world cup, making it back to the Indian national team. Great Story,” Abhishek Bachchan said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama.
