July 14 will mark the start of the 5th edition of Emerging Asia Cup 2023 with eight teams fighting for the coveted title. The Asian cricket council(ACC) organizes the tournament to develop the talent of most prominent young cricketers from Asia. The tournament will feature ‘A’ teams of the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council; and the top 3 teams from the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup; Nepal, UAE, and Oman.
India last won this tournament way back in 2013 and since then Sri Lanka has won it twice while Pakistan has also taken a solitary title.
Format
The eight teams are divided into two groups of four each. India are placed in Group A alongside Nepal, UAE A, and Pakistan A.
