The much hyped test series between India and Australia is just round the corner and the experts have opined that India has an upper hand going into the four match series considering a depleted Australian team without the services of Steve Smith and David Warner.
India has been more than a handy side in past few years but results have not reflected their impressive run on overseas tour. The battle will be intense as a depleted kangaroo will face an unpredictable Indian team in the test series, starting 6th December in Adelaide.
The Indian team will heavily rely on skipper Virat Kohli to fire and lead the team to victory. However, former Aussie wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist feels that every Indian batter should contribute with Virat Kohli which may constitute to the Indian victory in Australia.

“The key for India winning this series though will be batsmen around him(Virat Kohli). Will they support him enough to allow India to get enough runs, and give their good bowling attack enough opportunity to defend or even bowl Australia twice in a Test,” said Gilchrist in an interview with PTI as reported by Times of India.
Gilchrist went onto say that India will start as the favourite in the series as they have a well settled line-up with experienced players but he opined that it won’t take too much for the Aussies to dominate in their home conditions.
