The newly formed All Elite Wrestling promised that double or nothing pay per view will be one to remember and they didn’t disappoint. Kenny Omega was taking on Chris Jericho in the main event of the show when former WWE superstar Dean Ambrose interfered in the match and beat the hell out of everyone.
Ambrose dirty deeds-es Chris Jericho and the referee of the match. He changed his gimmick to Jon Moxley for AEW and is expected to be a top star for the werstling promoters.
AEW announce the signing of Jon Moxley
AEW is currently competing with WWE and the addition of Moxley will boost up their ratings and viewership. After the pay-per-view, AEW announced that they had signed Moxley to a multi-year deal.
“The arrival of Jon Moxley at Double or Nothing was the perfect ending to one of the most important nights in wrestling history,” said Tony Khan, President and CEO of AEW. “There was no better way to conclude an evening of new beginnings than with the introduction of the best free agent wrestler in the world. The chaotic scene that unfolded in the closing moments of Double or Nothing was emblematic of the unpredictability and explosiveness that Jon Moxley will bring to AEW. We’re very proud that Jon has signed a multi-year contract, and he is officially on the All Elite Wrestling roster!,” AEW press release said.
