Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan is anticipated to watch the high profile clash between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup 2018 league stage, according to media reports.
Imran, who won the historic 1992 world cup for Pakistan is also the patron-in chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
“Prime Minister Imran Khan will watch the Pakistan-India Asia Cup clash in Dubai on Wednesday, diplomatic sources said,” GEO TV reported.
Khan, 56, has left for Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates which is his first foreign tour after attaining the Prime Minister’s throne.
The arch rivals are facing each other for the first time in the United Arab Emirates since 2006.The Indian team last played in the Central Asian country on 19 April 2006 against men in green, where they won by 51 runs.
