The whole Dubai International stadium was buzzing when MS Dhoni stepped onto the field with Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan for the toss. He was to lead the team after captain Rohit Sharma and his deputy Shikhar Dhawan were rested for the match. This will be Dhoni’s 200th match as a ODI captain for India.
Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat first with an unchanged side while India went for 5 changes- Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah out.
