Auction of 6th edition of Pro Kabaddi League: 422 players to go under hammer

A total of 422 players will go under the hammer during the auction of 6th edition of Pro Kabaddi League which will be a two-day affair in Mumbai. From the pool of 422 players, 87 players are from the Future Kabaddi Heroes (FKH) programme while there are 58 foreign players from 14 countries including Iran, Bangladesh, Japan, Kenya, Republic of Korea, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, as termed by a media release.

Out of the 12 franchises, nine have already picked 21 players as Elite Retained Players. The remaining three franchises Jaipur Pink Panthers, UP Yoddha and U Mumbai will build their team from the start.

The total salary purse available for each franchise is Rs four crore and a franchise may choose between 18-25 players to form a team, the release stated.

Haryana Steelers: Kuldeep Singh

Patna Pirates: Pardeep Narwal, Jaideep, Jawahar Dagar, Manish Kumar.

Puneri Paltan: Sandeep Narwal, Rajesh Mondal, More GB, Girish Ernak

Tami Thalaivas: Ajay Thakur, Amit Hooda, C Arun

Telugu Titans: Nilesh Salunke, Mohsen Maghsoudloujafari
