Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal is all set to make her life settled by marrying her long time boyfriend Parupalli Kashyap. According to the reports by Times of India, both the star shuttlers will tie knot this December.
The report state that about 100 people are expected to attend the ceremony, followed by a grand reception on December 21.
“Both families had been planning the wedding for a while. They have now finalised the date. The arrangements are all for December 16,” the report quoted a source as saying.
10 year-old relationship
Kashyap, the 2014 Commonwealth games champion is training with Saina in the Pullela Gopichand academy since 2005. The duo were believed to be dating each other from 10 long years and they managed to keep it a well kept secret. Their social media post have certainly cleared the air of their relationship.
Career
Kashyap, 32, who is 5th on the list of smashing the fastest badminton smash of 401 km/hr during the 2015 Japan Open Super Series, created history by reaching the quarter-final of 2012 London Olympics in men singles. Saina Nehwal went onto win a bronze in women’s singles event of 2012 Olympics.
Downfall
Kashyap used to be India’s number one shuttler in men singles category but some freak injuries kept him out of action for a long time and he lost his touch since early 2016. He’s still struggling to get going and somehow managed to cling in top 50 of world rankings.
