Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal says Virat Kohli is not a human

Tamim Iqbal has been one of the finest cricketer that Bangladesh has ever produced. The 29-year-old southpaw won the heart of many after suffering a career ending injury in Bangladesh’s Asia Cup opener against Sri Lanka and came out to bat as the last man when the team needed him. He played by one wrist alongside Mushfiqur Rahim and took his side close to 250 runs that proved enough for Sri Lanka.

Iqbal recently spoke about India captain Virat Kohli and said that he is at a different planet. He said that Virat is not a human and he has never seen anyone dominate the game like the Indian captain does.

“I sometimes feel he is not human because the way he performs, my goodness, the moment he comes out to bat, it looks like he is going to score a hundred every game,” Tamim said.

Iqbal opines Kohli is the number one batsman in the world

“The way he looks after himself, the way he works on his game, it’s unbelievable. He is probably the number one in all three formats. He is someone to watch and admire and also learn from. I think he has been fantastic. And I have seen all the great players that have played the game in the past 12 years. They have their own strong points. But I haven’t seen anyone that has dominated as much as Virat has,” he said.
