India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the second T20 at Indore to take 1-0 lead in the three match T20 series on Tuesday. Batting first after losing the toss, Sri Lanka scored 142 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. In response, India won the match with 15 balls remaining. For men in blue, KL Rahul (45), Shreyas Iyer (34) and Shikhar Dhawan (32) set it up nicely for a convincing win. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 30 and took India to the finishing line.
Navdeep Saini was adjudged man of the match for his impressive bowling performance. He bowled with great line and length and finished with a figure of 2/18. The Haryana born Delhi bound cricketer had raw pace earlier, but he failed to execute the correct line and length, which he has improved in the recent while.
