South Africa completed a convincing 9 wickets victory over India to level the T20 series 1-1 on Sunday. Indian captain Virat Kohli chose to bat first after winning the toss and the decision was proved wrong by the batters.
Losing top order batsman was again a major setback for India as the extended batting order could not do much. The hosts finished on 134/9 at the end of 20 overs which was not enough on a batsman friendly wicket of M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.
In reply, South Africa were positive right from the word go. They lost their first wicket on 76 in the form of Reeza Hendricks but the visitors were in grip of the game. Quinton De Kock(79 off 52 balls) kept the score board moving and was well supported by Temba Bavuma thereafter.
The Proteas finished the game in just 16.5 overs to register a convincing victory. Here are some of the reactions-
Where are those cricket experts who used to say that slow scoring by @msdhoni is the sole reason for the losses of Indian cricket team??? Who scored slow today? Oh wait, no one scored in the first place !!! #INDvsSA #INDvSA #INDvsSA3rdT20

There is a reason why Captain Virat Kohli has won ZERO T20 titles.
Playing ‘all-rounders’ over match winning bowlers.
Batting depth till no 9 & scoring 134.
Didn’t bowl Jadeja till 14th over.
Wicket taking bowlers win you T20 titles. Not bits & pieces cricketers.#INDvSA pic.twitter.com/4oY0b2I8dS

I feel Virat going off the field was just a tactical move to let Rohit Sharma captain. Jokes aside, I still feel Rohit is a better captain than Kohli, not taking anything away from how great Kohli the batsman is!#indiavssouthafrica #INDvSA@CricCrazyNIKS @cricketwallah
