DMK chief M. Karunanidhi(94) and five time chief minister of Tamil Nadu passed away in Chennai on August 7 in the evening. Karunanidhi who entered the world politics at a minor age of 14 has dominated the proceeding in Indian politics for over 6 decades. The former CM was admitted to Kauvery Hospital on July 28 after he contracted urinary tract infection and developed a high fever.
“Despite the best possible efforts by our team of doctors and nurses to resuscitate him, he failed to respond,” the hospital said in a statement.
Changes in the TNPL play-offs
The play-offs matches are to be held in Tirunelveli and Dindigul but still will get affected by the big loss.
The first qualifier between Dindigul Dragons and Siechem Madurai Panthers was scheduled to be held today but following the unfortunate happening, it will be re-scheduled for another date.
