India’s dependable middle order talisman Cheteshwar Pujara is blessed with a baby girl as he shared the news on twitter. The right-handed batsman wrote: “Welcome lil one. Excited and super happy for the new roles in our lives. We made a wish and she came true!” The daughter is the first child of the cricketer and his wife, Puja. It comes as a double delight for Pujara having lead Saurashtra to semi final in Vijay Hazare trophy and now becoming a father to baby girl.

Pujara will lead Saurashtra’s charge against Andhra in the 2nd semi final of Vijay Hazare trophy. The match is scheduled to be held at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on 25th February.
