MS Dhoni is a gifted customer when it comes to keeping calm and composed when the situation becomes tougher. But there were some instances when even the best in the business lost his cool that proved that he is still a human with expressions and emotions. India’s lethal spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav recently attended a Youtube based chat show named ‘What The Duck’ hosted by Vikram Sathaye. The duo talked about their cricketing journey and much more. But one thing which stand out was a hilarious incident involving the great “MS Dhoni”.
When Dhoni lost his cool at Kuldeep Yadav
Sathaye asked Yadav about his bowling experience with MSD behind the stump, on which the chinaman spinner recalled a hilarious incident.

He revealed that Dhoni lost lost his cool during a T20 match against Sri Lanka, where India posted a mammoth target of 260 runs at a batting friendly Indore’s Holkar stadium. Kuldeep disclosed how the dangerous looking Lankan batsman were dispatching him to all corner of the ground. He would go to Dhoni to ask where to bowl at but at one point of the match, MSD stepped upto to Yadav and suggested him to get rid of the fielder at covers and bring the point fielder up.
Kuldeep said he was “okay” with the field and huddled away to bowl the next delivery. It was then that Dhoni lost his cool at Kuldeep Yadav and he screamed at him, “Kya mai pagal hu yaha pe mai 300 ODI khela hu (Am I mad here, I have played 300 ODI games).”
Kuldeep adjusted the field as per Dhoni’s instruction and got the wicket, then Dhoni walked up to him and said, “That’s what I was talking about.”
Chahal was also all praises for Dhoni for his flawless skills to read the mind of a batsman. He further said that Dhoni does half the work for the spinners and his accuracy in reading the conditions is unequalled.
