India has not been a great oversees performing team and the loosing history keeps repeating itself whenever India tour England, South Africa or Australasia. The players become a target on social media for team’s loss and the team managements and even the coaches are not spared by the passionate fans. The same incident happened with India coach Ravi Shastri who sponsored a twitter video post for a sports drink brand which got the fans angry.
Not to forget, social media has become a great marketing opportunity for the brands who look out for influential persons to promote their brand to millions of their followers.
