4- Andrew Flintoff- England
Flintoff was possibly one of the best all-rounders of 20’s and he was a big threat when he played against Australia and India. The right hander was a prominent reason for England’s victory in Ashes from 2005 to 2009 but his captaincy career didn’t go well as he would have expected.
The 40-year-old led his country in 11 test matches where he lost on 7 occasions. He also captained the European team at the 2006 tour of India where his side was outclassed 5-1. Selectors brought back regular skipper Michael Vaughan and Flintoff was removed off the duties.
