Considered as one of the greatest to take up the cricket field, Lara was certainly the greatest asset to the game. It is still tough to decide between Brian Lara or Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest of all times but Lara certainly didn’t had a great outing as a captain.
The Trinidadian cricketer lead his side in 47 Tests and just won on 10 occasions. He had a 50% win percentage in ODIs but leading his side to 2004 Champions trophy triumph was a big boost to his captaincy records.
