It was a big break for England as they didn’t had to work hard to break the partnership of Virat Kohli and test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara which may have proved to be a innings builder for India, struggling at 15-3 in the second test at Lords. In the third ball of the 9th over bowled by Jimmy Anderson, Pujara tucked the ball infront of point and send off for a quick single. Skipper Virat Kohli also strided ahead but at the midway point turned his back which costed a foolish run out in the difficult context of the match. It was clear mistake by Virat Kohli and fans were terrified with his attitude and wanted him to say a “sorry” to Pujara.

Former India spinner Bishan Singh Bedi became the voice of those fans and said “True leadership beckons saying ‘sorry’ when the occasion demands..@imVkohli(Virat Kohli) can go up manifold in the eyes of his teammates if he hugs @cheteshwar1(Cheteshwar Pujara) & apologises simultaneously..there’s no shame really acknowledging a cock up..!!”
Here’s what twitterverse reacted to his tweet
Poor Pujara: 8th involvement in last 13 run outs. “Mic drop” antic and “I’m sorry” drill are not going to help. Mr Kohli.

This team is in panic mode….there was no run there and it seemed they just lost it in between there…basics went out of the window.

: Pujara knew it was going to rain so he was running towards the pavilion. Don’t declare him out. He was protecting himself.

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif said-
