After the conclusion of T20 series against Sri Lanka, India will square off against a formidable looking Australia in a three match ODI series. Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli, while Aaron Finch will command the Australian team.
Australia travelled to India last year before the start of the world cup and beat the hosts at their own backyard 3-2. This proved to be a turning point for Australia as India had lost an ODI series in home after a long time. Interestingly, both the teams failed to reach the finals of the world cup and were ousted in the semi finals. Team India will have a great opportunity in hand to avenge the defeat.
Gautam Gambhir and Irfan Pathan predict the winner
Gautam Gambhir said that this will be a great test for the two teams, who boast of game changers in their unit. He further predicted that the series will go in favour of India 2-1 and noted that this is what his heart says and he does not want to apply his brain in predicting the results.
“2-1 India, i dont want to use my brain, i’m just speaking from my heart,” Gambhir said during on air commentary.
Irfan Pathan did not differ from Gambhir and said that India will win it 2-1.
“I will give my prediction early and that is 2-1 in India’s favour,” Pathan said.
