In the grand auction a total of 422 players, including 58 overseas players, went under the hammer during the two-day of bidding battle where 87 players from the Future Heroes Kabaddi programme were also up for bidding. The Fortunegiants spent a whopping Rs. 380.32 Lakhs on twenty-one players in the 2018 PKL auction to make a team which may again get them to the finals and unlike the previous season, they will lift their maiden title.
