Rain has allready spoiled the play in the ongoing cricket world cup on four occasions. India’s clash against New Zealand was also called off due to rain in Nottingham and both the teams had to share points. India was the overwhelming favourites in the game against blackcaps but they overcame the disappointment by thrashing Pakistan in their very next game on June 16th.
They followed it up with a 11 runs win over Afghanistan in a closely contested clash in Southampton. India will next face an unpredictable West Indies in their next clash on 27th June in Manchester. Rain is not expected to spoil the sport as heat wave has allready hit the Europe including the United Kingdom and the weather will remain sunny through the course of the day.
According to Accuweather, Sun will shine brightly on the day and there is 0% chance of rain. The sunny weather means that the pitch will favour the batsman.
