Former Paris Saint-Germain player Yuri Berchiche says Neymar is likely to join Real Madrid if he decides to return to LaLiga from Paris Saint-Germain. There were speculations of Neymar joining Real Madrid to replace Ronaldo after the Portugal striker joined Serie A giants Juventus. However, Neymar has denied all the claims on his move to Santiago Bernabeu and is happy playing in France.
Yuri has been a part of PSG setup in the 2017 season after heading to Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. Yuri feels Neymar can head back to Spain if he leaves PSG.
“I see him returning but more in white than in blue and red,” Yuri told El Larguero.
“He was very happy at Barcelona. He still likes La Liga because I spoke with him about it, we have a good friendship, and he’s a fantastic person. If he joins Madrid I wish him the best of luck.”
Neymar scored a goal in PSG’s 3-0 win over Caen last Sunday.
Neymar signed a five years deal with PSG last year for a record sum of €222million after leaving Barcelona. He still has four years of contract left.
