The marriage trend continues as ace shuttler Saina Nehwal got married to her long time boyfriend and 2014 commonwealth games gold medallist Parupalli Kashyap. The duo took to twitter to announce the grand news with their fans and followers.
The duo has been training in the Pullela Gopichand academy since 2005 where they met for the first time. It is believed that they have been reportedly dating for the past 10 years but have kept the news personal. Saina as well as Kashyap posted several pictures with each other on social media that revealed some story about their love life.
Saina announced her marriage with Kashyap in October which put aside all the rumours about their relationship.
Saina shared several photos of her wedding and shared it on twitter by quoting “Best match of my life…#justmarried.”
The duo will host a grand reception of 16th December where they will also get married with traditional rituals.
Talking about their professional front, Saina didn’t produce great results in super series tournaments this year and as a result she was not included in the BWF world tour finals.
Kashyap who has been an inspiration for several male shuttlers in the country has been struggling with the form after suffering from an injury in 2016.
