The India A squad is currently plying its trade in the ongoing series against West Indies A. The men in blue led by Manish Pandey, won the starting three games of the unofficial ODI series but went down to the home team in the fourth game.
Team India enjoyed their time-off at the scenic beaches of the Caribbean. Here are some pictures-
1- Fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been selected in the Indian squad for the tour of the West Indies. He is a part of the T20 team. Deepak is playing against West Indies A on in the ongoing tour.
2- Navdeep Saini impressed one and all in the IPL 2019, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He got selected as a net bowler in the World Cup and will not ply his trade in the limited overs series against West Indies.
3- Shreyas Iyer also got an opportunity in the Indian team for ODI and T20 series. The Mumbai batsman has earlier featured in 6 ODIs and 6 T20Is, scoring 210 and 83 runs respectively.
4- Shubman Gill was unlucky to miss out a spot in the Indian team despite impressive run for India A.
5- The senior Pandya picked 5 wickets in the 3rd unofficial ODI against West Indies A. He was rewarded a place in the Indian T20 team for the Windies tour.
6- Deepak Chahar was awarded a place in the ODI and T20 squad on the back of upstanding performance for India A and Chennai Super Kings.
