Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took some time off from his busy schedule and visited the iconic Emirates stadium to watch home side- Arsenal lock horns with Newcastle United on Monday. Shah, who is currently busy supporting his team Kolkata Knight Riders in the 12th season of IPL, witnessed the match where the home side were clinical and thumped their opponents 2-0.
After the completion of the match, SRK met famous Arsenal striker and former German International- Mesut Ozil and his fiancée, Swedish model-actor Amine Gulse.
Khan took to social media to share the picture with the star footballer and wrote “What a lovely evening @Arsenal congratulations. Thx @MesutOzil1088 & #AmineGulse for your warmth love & hospitality. See u guys soon in India.”
Arsenal is one of the most followed club in India after Manchester United. Several Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ali Bhatt and Esha Gupta have been vocal about their support to the club. Former India captain Rahul Dravid and voice of cricket Harsha Bhogle are also ardent Arsenal supporters.
