The Board of control for cricket in India(BCCI) has announced 12-member Indian squad for the second test against West Indies, starting 12th October at Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad.
India won the first test by a comprehensive margin of an innings and 272 runs and the team management has certainly showed the ruthless approach by not changing the team for the second test.
Mayank Agarwal and Mohammad Siraj who were in good form for India A and in the 2017/18 Ranji season will again have to warm the benches and wait for their chance in the future.
KL Rahul who disappointed in the first test by getting dismissed on duck will get another lifeline to prove his worth in the team before an all important tour to Australia.
Depending on the pitch conditions in Hyderabad the team management may play an extra fast bowler in place of one of the three spinners in the team.
