India-Bangladesh teams arrived in Indore on Monday for the first Test match starting on 14 November. Teams landed at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport by special aircraft and will be staying in different hotels. The fans flocked outside the airport to get a glimpse of the players but police had made elaborate security arrangements there. The buses in which both teams were transported to the hotel were specially designed with the message of “Swachh Bharat” written on it.
The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association(MPCA) official said that the two teams will reach Holkar Stadium for practice in different sessions on Tuesday. However, at present no authorized program of their practice has been released. It is necessary to mention here that the Bangladeshi team will play their first ever match at Holkar Stadium.
The first match between these two Asian rivals will be played from 14th-18th November at iconic Holkar stadium in Indore and then the action will shift to the historic second test at Kolkata. Its worth mentioning that India will play their first ever day night test match with pink ball.
