India will take the ground against an uproaring England after the conclusion of world test championship where they lost to New Zealand by 8 wickets. India plied their trade in world test championship final against the blackcaps from 18th to 23rd June at Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
A second tier Indian team will take the ground against Sri Lanka in a limited overs series but the squad that played in world test championship and few more cricketers will participate in the grueling five match test series against England.

The series will commence from Trent Bridge in Nottingham from 4-8 August and will be followed by another test at Lord’s in London from 12-16 August.
After some gap, the third test will start from 25-29 August Headingley in Leeds followed by fourth test at Kennington Oval from 2-6 September. The final test will be played at Old Trafford in Manchester from 10-14 September.
