India tour of West Indies 2019 full schedule: Fixtures, timing and venue

India will travel to the islands of West Indies for a full fledged series after the conclusion of the ongoing world cup in England and Wales. The matches will be played in West Indies and Florida, USA.

India will start the tour with a three match T20 series followed by 3 match ODI series and 2 match test series, starting 3 August. The teams will lock horn in first two T20’s at Florida on 3, 4 August.

India will also start its world test championship 2019-21 campaign with two tests in Guyana (August 22 to 26) and Jamaica (August 30 to September 3). The tournament will replace the prestigious Champions trophy which is currently held by Pakistan.

“The West Indies and India have a long and colourful rivalry, and the MyTeam11 Series will bring more thrilling competition across every format of the game,” Cricket West Indies Chief Executive Officer Johnny Grave said in a press release.

“We’ll be seeing some of the World’s best players go head to head in T20Is, ODIs and then in the new World Test Championship. West Indies fans, young and old, will have the opportunity to see some incredible cricket,” he added.

T20I series

All matches start at 10:30 AM (Local time) and 8 PM (Indian standard time)

1st T20I in Florida, USA – August 3 from 10:30 AM

2nd T20I in Florida, USA – August 4 from 10:30 AM

3rd T20I in Guyana – August 6 from 10:30 AM


ODI series

All matches start at 9:30 AM (Local time) and 7 PM (Indian standard time)

1st ODI in Guyana – August 8

2nd ODI in Trinidad – August 11

3rd ODI in Trinidad – August 14


Test series

All matches start at 9:30 AM (Local time) and 7 PM (Indian standard time)

1st Test in Antigua – August 22 to 26

2nd Test in Jamaica – August 30 to September 3


In history

India travelled to West Indies for a full fledged series after a shocking loss in Champions trophy 2017 finals to the hands of Pakistan. India won 5-match ODI series 3-1 but lost the one off T20 game in Florida, USA.
