India will travel to the islands of West Indies for a full fledged series after the conclusion of the ongoing world cup in England and Wales. The matches will be played in West Indies and Florida, USA.
India will start the tour with a three match T20 series followed by 3 match ODI series and 2 match test series, starting 3 August. The teams will lock horn in first two T20’s at Florida on 3, 4 August.
India will also start its world test championship 2019-21 campaign with two tests in Guyana (August 22 to 26) and Jamaica (August 30 to September 3). The tournament will replace the prestigious Champions trophy which is currently held by Pakistan.
“The West Indies and India have a long and colourful rivalry, and the MyTeam11 Series will bring more thrilling competition across every format of the game,” Cricket West Indies Chief Executive Officer Johnny Grave said in a press release.
“We’ll be seeing some of the World’s best players go head to head in T20Is, ODIs and then in the new World Test Championship. West Indies fans, young and old, will have the opportunity to see some incredible cricket,” he added.
