India vs Australia 2nd Hockey test 2022: Live streaming, date, time, squads, preview, tickets

India faced a heartbreaking 5-4 defeat to Australia in the first match of five match test series in Adelaide. After being a goal down in the starting minutes of the game, Akashdeep Singh leveled the things for the visitors before Ephraums Nathan brought back the hosts to the lead 2-1 courtesy a brilliant field goal. Akasheep Singh didn’t held back and found the nets in the 27th minute to bring the visitors to level terms and skipper Harmanpreet Singh converted a set piece in the 31st minute to give the all important lead to India.

Craig Tom had a good game and he made sure to convert a penalty corner in the 41st minute to bring the hosts to level terms. With 4 minutes left in the game, Blake Govers did the damage courtesy his fierce penalty corner flick on the right corner which gave no chance to Indian keeper Krishan Pathak. India kept building attacks and an unmarked Akashdeep Singh converted in the 59th minute to bring the game to level terms. Australia got a penalty corner in the dying moments of the match and Blake Govers converted to give a famous victory to Australia.

India will now look to level back in the 2nd test and give their preparations a big boost ahead of the 2023 hockey world cup which starts on 13th January in Bhubaneswar-Rourkela.
