In an unlikely fashion, Indian team started the sledging in the contest and it was Australia who had the last laugh.
Virat Kohli, who scored a century in the first innings of the second test was dismissed in a controversial manner after which Australian captain Tim Paine was unhappy of him not walking to pavilion which became the root of what is to come in the future.
The spat between the two captains continued and the match officials had to finally come in between to separate the two.

Jadeja and Ishant fight on the field
Two senior members of the team- Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted in an on-field battle. The two were engaged in a verbal spat during the drinks break. Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav, who brought drinks for the players had to intervene to separate the two players.
The commentators were also left to guess about the conversation between the two senior players.
