The much anticipated India vs Australia test series is just round the corner but the hype for the much awaited series is allready on its peak. India are yet to win a test series in Australia but the experts think that this may be India’s chance to forget the history and finally win a historic test series down under. India are currently ranked number 1 in test rankings in comparison to Australia who are ranked number 5, but history of being a poor team on overseas tour will haunt Virat Kohli and Co.
Shahid Afridid predicts the winner
The former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi is in no mood to part ways from cricket. He recently led to Pakhtoons to T10 league finals where they lost to Northern Warriors, however his hunger of playing more and more cricket seems never ending which is a great news for his fans and followers.
Afridi recently donned the prediction hat and said that India will have a good chance of pipping Australia.
“India can win the series Down Under because Australia doesn’t have the team that they used to. India have a superb batting line-up and they have improved their bowling as well,” Afridi told India TV.
The 38-years-old went onto say that red ball cricket is the top format of the game and steps need to be taken to bring in more audience to the stadium.
“I still feel that Test is the supreme format of the sport, the audience for Test have reduced in numbers but it should be promoted often which will eventually bring in people to witness,” Afridi added.
