After a long hustle between BCCI and ICC , finally there is some good news for the cricket fans as the defending champions India are set to defend their title which they won in 2013.But most probably the champions trophy gonna experience the clash of two fierce rivals India and Pakistan on 4th of June at Warwickshire county cricket club , Edgbaston in England.
Pakistan have an upper hand when it comes to head to head against their neighbours in ODI’s . They have won 72 out of the 127 matches played.While India have managed to win just 51 matches,4 matches ended up in a draw. But the story gets reverted when it comes to ICC events.As India had strongly dominated Pakistan when it comes to ICC events . It would be interesting to see if Pakistan can break the jinx and finally have their mauka to burst some firecrackers , when these two rivals meet on 4th of June in a group B encounter .
Group A = Australia , New Zealand , Bangladesh , England
Group B = India , Pakistan , Sri Lanka , South Africa
Many cricket pundits have allready started their prediction on the possible outcome.But we will give you a detailed comparison of a player’s average to compare both the teams and see who have an upper hand over their rival. (COMPARISON FROM POSSIBLE PLAYING 11)
INDIA. PAKISTAN

Shikhar Dhawan. Ahmed Shehzad. (Mat.= 76,Ave.=46.92) (Mat=75,Ave.=33.91)
Rohit Sharma. Md. Hafeez. (Mat=143, Ave.=41.37) (
Mat=180Ave.=32.26 )

Clearly , India looks to have more experienced batters with impressive average who are match winners for their side ,on the other hand Pakistan have a good mix of experience and youth but their batting average seems to be low as compared to Indian batters.
Hence,Indian batters looks to be more experienced and edge past the Pakistani batting lineup.
Bowling Average
R. Ashwin. Imad Wasim. (Mat.=105,Ave=32.37) (Mat.=21,Ave.=31.83)

Clearly Pakistani bowling looks impressive and their average in comparison with Indian bowlers is far more better.No doubt,the Pakistani bowling lineup will fire against India and a experienced batting lineup of India in the likes of Virat Kohli,MS Dhoni,Rohit Sharma will face a stiff challenge from Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir.
As the Champions trophy near,fans from these two asian countries are ecstatic .We could experience a good verbal exchange between the players on the field that has just became the part of a India-Pakistan affair.
Considering all the stats and average,Indian batting looks far more stronger than the Pakistani batting lineup.Whereas ,Pakistani bowling line up looks more formidable considering the average.
But according to cricket pundits ,experience is a thing to consider and watching the lineups one can say that India looks to be a more balanced and experienced side and their ODI rankings are better than Pakistan.
Hence,India edge past Pakistan and looks to be favourite to win the epic clash on 4th of June.But pakistani young lineup cant be neglected who are fearless and if they have their day,they can change the course of the game on their own.
