After winning 2 medals on the 6th day of the competition, Indian athletes will eye more medals on day 7. Badminton, Table Tennis and Squash players will compete in the individual events from today. Hima Das will be in action in women’s 400m, not to forget, the girl from Assam is on her first International outing, having qualified for CWG by clinching a gold medal in Federation cup by defeating heavyweights like MR Poovamma and Juana Murmu. 10:50 am: India’s Shreyasi Singh takes gold in women’s double trap shooting event. She was tied at 96 with the Australian Emma Cox. In the shoot-off she hit both the targets, on the other hand Emma missed one target, to give Shreyasi the gold.

Other Indian in contention was Varsha Varman who had to settle for the 4th place after disappointing last round.
